INFORMATION-PACKED MEDIA SEMINARS PLANNED FOR GMS
Industry Professionals Share their Expertise at Global Media Summit
April 9, 2019 – Dallas, TX – This year’s Global Media Summit will offer three Media Seminar Tracks-Television, Film, and Advanced Writing and Publishing-for attendees to gain valuable knowledge about their respective areas of media. The Global Media Summit (GMS), now in its fourth year, will be held June 28-29, 2019 at the Dallas Baptist University Hurst Campus, 110 Grapevine Highway in Hurst, Texas.
Leading the Television Track are experienced executives, Bob Higley and Lisa Mouradian. Higley is the CEO of Upliftv and also spent twenty-six years as a Vice-President at the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Mouradian is a key member of the Inspiration Ministries team and is the Director of Inspiration TV. In the Television Track, Higley and Mouradian will show conference-goers how to take their message further and broader and how to light up the airways with the truth and power of God’s word. Seminar attendees will learn how to develop and produce their own show and will be updated on the latest in broadcast technology.
Wes and Amanda Llewellyn are coordinating the Film Track. The Llewellyns are the owners of 4L Films, based in Atlanta, and have been in film production for thirty years. Amanda Llewellyn is a producer and writer as well. The Llewellyns will teach filmmakers how to break through the darkness with a powerful message of light on the big screen. They will provide the latest information from casting to production to distribution.
Bill Watkins will also add his expertise to the Writing and Publishing Track. Watkins is the Senior Editor for Broadstreet Publishing as well as the Founder and President of Literary Solutions. Watkins himself has written eight books, twenty-three study guides and more than one hundred-eighty other pieces of writing. He has worked with a number of well-known people including the former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee, ministry leader, Chuck Swindoll, Christian apologist Josh McDowell and sports figures like former Washington Redskins coach, Joe Gibbs and former Chicago Bears standout Mike Singletary. Watkins is an expert on everything from developmental and substantive editing to manuscript evaluation and publishing.
Best-selling author, Kim Crabill heads up the Advanced Writing and Publishing Track. Kim is the founder and president of Roses and Rainbows Ministries, and Community COFFEEs (Conversation of Friends of Faith to Encourage and Equip). She is the author of Burdens to Blessings, Infinity More, A Cup of Christmas: 31 Daily Readings for December, A Cup of Hope and A Cup of Freedom. Crabill will provide advanced tools and expert tips to get more written work published, as well as share about the marketing and media elements that go along with being a prominent author.
