August 1, 2017 – Dallas, TX. – The Global Media Summit (GMS), now in its third year, has announced its dates for 2018. The worldwide event will return to the Gaylord Texan Resort, April 26-28, 2018.

The theme of next year’s Summit is “Victory in Battle.” “In light of increasing terrorism, persecution and unrest across the world, we thought this theme was appropriate for next year’s Global Media Summit,” said Suellen Roberts, the founder and visionary behind GMS. “This is an opportunity for Christian media professionals, both men and women, to come together and be inspired, equipped, and to connect with each other. We want to encourage these professionals because they are making a difference by using media to reach the world.”

Previously, the Global Media Summit has included mainline speakers like Brooklyn Tabernacle pastor and author, Jim Cymbala, movie producer, Phil Cooke, author, media personality Carol Swain and Women of Faith veteran and speaker, Thelma Wells. GMS international Media Partners, Andre Robert-Faith TV- South Africa, Enkeleda Shelborne- Media 7- Eastern Europe, Edward John- Channel 10-Scandanavia, and  John James- Australia brought the global perspective to the summit.
