Biography
Enkelejda (Leda) Shelburne, Founder & President Media 7, answered God’s call in 2001 to begin Media 7. Today it is the largest Christian Media Organization in the Albanian language.Media 7 owns five Christian radio stations in Albania reaching 90% of Albanian population and two radio stations in Kosovo reaching 80% of the country. In 2017 Media 7 will launch the first Christian TV station in Albania and Kosovo.
Shelburne came to the Lord as a teenager, right after the fall of the communist government in Albania through 700 Club a ministry of CBN. Throughout her childhood, teenage years and University has been heavily involved in different stage performances as a scenarist, emcee, singer, fashion designer for artists and worked for the Albanian Public Radio Station as producer.
In 1999 Shelburne began working for Radio Iliria the first Christian radio station, as a part time Producer and later a Programing Director. She has also served for eight years as the National Director of TWR in Albania. Enkelejda (Leda) Shelburne has a Master degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University USA and believes strongly in Servant Leadership.
Today, Shelburne’s passion is to establish Christian radio and television stations and other forms of Christian media wherever Albanians live, fulfilling the vision God gave her 15 years ago to Populate Heaven with Albanians.
Leda and her husband Shayne and son Andrew live in Albania.
